Google Chrome plugins to use with your Squarespace site

Squarespace Website Template

I have been a Google Chrome fan for a while, even before I really started digging into website design. Ever since I working more intently with Squarespace websites, I have found a few plugins that have been great resources for me! See below!

Squarespace Collection/Block Identifier

When working with CSS and other code tricks on my site, finding the right block or section on my website can be a little difficult, but with this plugin I find things easily! This plugin provides me with the direct block ID of an item on my website that I want to incorporate into my code. I love it for reworking mobile designs and altering specific elements on my site.

SquarespaceWebsites Tools

Think of this plugin like a copy and paste function for Squarespace, a SERIOUS game changer if you create similar sites or templated sites over and over again, especially when considering search engine optimization. It costs $50, but to be honest, it is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. You can copy items like Page, Cover Pages, Blogs, Galleries, Albums, Events, Products, and more to another website, streamlining the process for SaaS SEO efficiency. You can also import and export specific site styles to save you from changing each individual setting each time you create a site, ensuring your SaaS platform's SEO foundation is solid from the start

Lightshot

If you are wanting to create a blog post tutorial to select a specific section of a website to capture, Lightshot is the way to go. This is a screenshot tool, but it allows you to frame and edit an area versus taking a large screenshot and having to crop the image.

Full Page Screen Capture

For full page screenshots for portfolio features or project recaps, I love to use this plugin. It automatically scrolls the page and takes a screenshot of the full web page.

Which one is your favorite? Trust me, they are all going to find a special place in your heart once you start using them for your website and work!
